Pumpkin seeds and why they make you look good

If you like snacking and who doesn't ... you will like pumpkin seeds.
I love snacking on pumpkin seeds, they are yummy.
Sometimes I eat a whole bag in a day.  :-)
Pumpkin seeds are small, a little bit bigger than sunflower seeds.
Pumpkin seeds contain a long list of anti-ageing ingredients, including zinc, magnesium, iron, copper, vitamin A, B, K, manganese, protein, niacin, thiamine and omega 3 fatty acids. The combined power of which is pretty unbeatable when it comes to slowing down collagen breakdown.

They are also full of vitamin E - a powerful antioxidant that helps slow down skin aging. Vitamin E is also a great protection against ultraviolet radiation that can cause skin cancer and premature aging. Vitamin E from a natural source like pumpkin seeds is actually easier for your body to absorb.

Pumpkin seeds are an excellent food for improving your skin tone and for treating acne problems.
And once again, because of those omega-3 fatty acids, they keep your skin smooth and your hair shiny. Pumpkin seeds really are a great choice if you want a healthy and glowing skin.

Extra benefits:

- Pumkin seeds are the most alkaline-forming seed

Why not to give it a try?
Have a cup of pumpkin seeds every day to prevent appearance of wrinkles and to keep your skin hydrated and nourished.
You can buy them at the supermarket or health food store. Small or medium size bags are for sale.
Sometimes, it's the simple things in life which taste the best.

Pumpkin seeds are healthy, but they are also high in fat. However, the fat they contain is mostly the heart-healthy unsaturated kind.
Make sure not to eat too many, consider using them as a topping for a salad, cornflakes, oatmeal, etc.

  1. Non conoscevo i benefici dei semi di zucca. Li cerco per preparare il pane o metterli nella crema di zucca, ma non li riesco a trovare sgusciati.
