Eating breakfast is the secret to healthy living

Just recently I've started to eat breakfast every morning.  
Yes, every morning, even though I don't think it's easy, especially when you are in a hurry.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It wakes you up and if you eat a healthier breakfast, it'll get you going. 
When I eat breakfast, I dont feel hungry until lunch time.

Skipping breakfast is a common plan for losing weight, but not a smart one. Many people believe that they will lose weight if they skip meals ( I used to did ).
Actually, eating a healthy breakfast can help you lose weight and maintain your weight loss. In fact, people who successfully lose weight are the ones that wake up and eat.
The body expects to be refueled a few times each day, starting with breakfast.
Fiber in the morning means less hunger late in the afternoon. An early start on eating also keeps your metabolism more active throughout the day.  
Once again - breakfast eaters are thinner than people who just rush out the door.

Why you should eat breakfast:

- Eating a healthy balanced breakfast gives you energy to start the day. 
- Eating breakfast can help to improve your mood
- Reduce or eliminate feelings of fatigue
- Gives your metabolism a start
- People who eat breakfast are more likely to maintain a healthy weight
- Your first meal of the day helps you burn more calories and stay full 
- People who eat morning meal regularly have better vitamin and mineral status

One of the side effects of not eating breakfast is that it can make you cranky and irritable. Or it may leave you feeling tired and fatigued. Mornings are usually when we need to be the most alert. 
If you skip breakfast, you are more likely to fill up on high fat, high sugar snacks with no nutritional value. 
Eating breakfast, especially a healthy one, helps to control cravings and keeps you full and satisfied.
If you eat high-fiber, low energy density foods - such as oatmeal, strawberries, walnuts and low-fat yogurt, you can eat more and get fewer calories. My favorite is Bran cereal with yogurt and lots of strawberries. 
There is also evidence supporting the recommendation to eat a protein-heavy breakfast if you want to lose weight.

Remember that eating a healthy breakfast is the best way to start off your day.
And don't forget to choose wisely when it comes to your morning meal. If you want to lose weight, however, there's a right way to eat breakfast. Go for high-protein, high-fiber, and low-sugar meals that will keep you satisfied throughout the morning and try to eat breakfast within an hour of waking up or within two hours of working out. 

So it seems that breakfast really is the most important meal of the day.
