Stand Out from the Crowd, Wear Pink

Ever wonder how certain people always look nice?
It is because they are dressing fashionably and being fashionable is being confident.
Trying to stay in with Fashion can be sometimes quite difficult.
That's why this June get into the pink.

Stand out from the crowd, be independent and courages by wearing this color.
Pink can be bright, bold and fun. It represents innocence, softness, sweetness, youthfulness, tenderness, romance, friendship and femininity.
Pink is thought to have a calming and nurturing effect and we all know that it is the color of universal love. Wearing pink tend to portray a very soft and pleasant image.
Many girls when they want to look girly, stick to the color pink. Some people may have different reasons. It's really all just people's opinion.

What I like about this color is that there are so many shades of pink.
Which ones to use or wear?
As I mentioned before, being fashionable is being confident.
Don't be scared to experiment, go for it, express yourself with combine colors this summer. Add a little pink to bring out the feminine touch, put on a tailored LBD and add your pink high heels on.
For a more sophisticated look, try adding small amounts of pink with black, dark blue or grey.
The color pink will also look great if you use it together with other shades of pink.
Use pink to bring playfulness (hot pink) and tenderness (pastel pinks).

In Feng Shui, pink color is the color of love and romance luck.
Wearing pink colored clothes, keeping pink flowers in the living room or pink pillows in the room helps to activate your romance luck. Pink color spreads soothing, loving feng shui vibrations and it is there to help heal your heart.
Pink is also associated with the heart chakra—the energy center located in the middle of the chest. The heart chakra influences our ability to feel and give love.

Do you like wearing jewelry?
Why not try to use Rose Quartz and speed the process of finding the one.
Rose Quartz is a pink-colored crystal that carries gentle soothing energy and gives comfort to anyone whose heart has been wounded. Rose Quartz soothes, comforts, reassures and brings about deep inner healing. This stone gently removes negativity and attracts the energy of love bringing calm to your relationships.
Carry or place pink gemstones around your home or office to stimulate love and beauty.
You can wear it on you to improve your love luck, or you can hold it in your hand for healing.
Put some pink color in your life.

Weekend is here, relax and get energized

Weekend is finally here.
It has been raining for last few days and it's supposed to rain all weekend, but it doesn't bother me.
I love weekends.
Resting at home, watching movies, going for a long walk in nature, cycling, shopping, meeting friends, having dinner outside, not to forget some cocktails and of course after a long Saturday night, how nice is to go out and have a tasty Sunday brunch.

To have fun, you can do anything.
Have dinner at a restaurant nearby and take a walk around your favorite place.
Enjoy your weekend, relax, take time to simply do nothing.
Oh, how beautiful it is to do nothing.

It is nice to paused, to enjoy the beauty of the sky, listening the relaxing sounds of the wind or take a walk in the park. Relax your body along with your mind.
Remember: Positive thinking leads to positive outcomes.

Don't forget to bring along your camera, who knows what you’ll find.
Wishing you all a great weekend full of joy!

Get Rid of Varicose Veins Naturally

Varicose veins are problem for many people and it can start in early age. I was very young when I noticed varicose veins on my legs. Varicose veins are twisted, enlarged veins near the surface of the skin. They are most common in the legs and ankles.
People who have varicose veins might also have achy legs that feel heavy.
I used to didn't want to wear shorts and skirts, because I felt bad about it. Then I started to read a lot on how to get rid of varicose veins with home remedies and I decided to try them all, just to see which remedy works best.

I would like to share with you some tips that have worked for me.
To get rid of varicose veins naturally, it is best to try more options than only one and do it step by step.

Lets first talk about what causes them:
- Genetics, varicose veins often run in families.
- Some jobs where you have to spend a long time standing up.
- The hormonal changes that occur during puberty, pregnancy and menopause.
- Increasing age.
- Being overweight.
- Lack of movement, sitting a lot.
- Sun exposure.

Tips how to get rid of varicose veins naturally:
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

1.) Make sure you don't sit or stand for long periods of time without changing positions or moving around. Always try to improve your circulation.
In some jobs prolonged standing or sitting is unavoidable. If you must stand for a long time, shift your weight from one leg to the other every few minutes. If you must sit for long periods of time, stand up and move around or take a short walk every 30 minutes.

2.) Sit up straight and don’t cross your legs. Good posture improves circulation, while crossed legs restrict blood flow to and from the legs. I have to say this was very hard for me, because I'm used to cross my legs when I sit, somehow I feel more relax to sit that way. But now I got used to it.

3.) Maintain a healthy weight, so that the veins in your legs aren't under too much pressure. Also drink a lots of water (it really helps). Additionally, drinking water is a great way to lose weight. Keep a water bottle with you all the time, at your work and while working out. A little bit of water often is better than a lot of water once in a while.

4.) Limit your salt. Eating less salt can help with the swelling that comes with varicose veins. Eat a diet rich in fibre, include fruits, berries, fresh vegetables and whole grains. Remember that too much salt in your diet is one of the major causes of spider veins.

5.) When you are lying down at night, to reduce the pressure on your legs is to elevate them above your heart. Placing a pillow under your legs as you sleep on your back is a great way to increase circulation and relieve pressure on your legs to get rid of spider veins. I love to put my feet up, so relaxing.

6.) Walking, cycling (my favorite), swimming, yoga and stretching will also help increase circulation to get rid of your spider veins. These types of exercise not only keep the condition from worsening, but they improve blood flow which reduces your leg pain and keep you fit.

7.) Compression stockings are effective at preventing the problem and can improve circulation.
Whenever I have to travel, I always use a pair of compression stockings to keep my legs strong throughout the journey.  Stockings helps increase energy, reduce pain and helps prevent your legs from aching and swelling.

8.) Don't wear high heels too often. Heels put too much stress on your veins by putting your legs in an unnatural position. Plus, wearing very high heels too often or for too long can cause knee and back pain, as well as other foot problems.
I love any kind of shoes, but heels are my favorite. I used to wear high heels every day, I couldn't imagine to go out in flats. Now I wear ballet pums, they are so cute and comfortable. I still wear high heels, but it is more for going out.

9.) Don't drink too much alcohol. Excessive drinking of alcohol may cause your veins to dilate permanently leading to spider veins.

10.) If you smoke then stop or try to be a social smoker. Smoking damages blood vessels, so might be linked to varicose veins. Studies have shown that smokers are more likely to get spider veins.

11.) Try to place a cloth wrapped in apple cider vinegar on your legs for 30 minutes to reduce the appearance of spider veins. You can wrap your legs and feet in a towel soaked with vinegar, and keep it on, while raising your legs as high as possible.

12.) A few years back I tried a herbal supplement combining butchers broom, horse chestnut and vine leaf (Bional - Butchers Broom, Horse Chestnut and Vine Leaf). I bought these capsules with the Bional V-Nal cream for legs, 3 months before my summer holidays.
Horse chestnut extract improves the health of your veins and blood vessels and increases circulation. I liked the cream a lot, it has a lovely fragrance and reduces the appearance of veins.
When taken tablets, always read carefully the detailed instructions and precautions which come with the product.

Hope this tips will help make your feet relaxed, beautiful and varicose veins free.
Remember to try them all, step by step.

Important:
See your doctor immediately, if you experience sudden pain or swelling in your legs or feet, or if you notice a lump developing in or near a varicose vein.

Do regular exercise (such as walking or running).

Wear compression stockings.

Cucumber Natural Beauty Treatment

When I was little I used to hate eating cucumbers.
Now I love them and eat them as much as I can. Especially in the summer. I love cucumbers plain, pickled or in salad.

Cucumbers are a good source of B vitamins. Just one cucumber contains Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B3, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B6, Folic Acid, Vitamin C, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium and Zinc. Theay are also a perfect beauty treatment.
The regular intake of cucumber juice is very useful both internally and externally.

Feed your body what it needs and you can keep your strong bones and the glow of youth.

Cucumber health benefits:

Cucumber helps in reducing swelling around the eyes. Cut cold cucumbers into thick slices. Find a place to relax with a slice over each eye for about ten minutes or until the cucumber becomes warm. It is also a natural remedy for under-eye circles. Cucumbers have an anti-inflammatory effect that reduces puffiness and you will begin to see results after a few uses.

Cucumber is great for your complexion and will leave you with a super fresh and radiant feeling.
It can help you in treating with so many skin problems.
Due to its cooling effect it can be called as a magic wand for all your skin problems. The cleaning and cleansing property will help your complexion hugely, making it soft and supple. It works wonders on wrinkles as well.

Cucumber is a fantastic source of silica and silica is important for hair health. Daily cucumber juice intake helps prevent hair loss and promote your hair grow healthier.

Cucumber a quick fix for cellulite
. Rub a slice of cucumber on the problem area for a few minutes. The phytochemicals in the cucumber cause the collagen in your skin to tighten, firming up the outer layer and reducing the visibility of cellulite.

Lately I learned that Cucumber is an energy booster. If you want to get rid of afternoon tiredness without resorting to using caffeine (Red Bull), eat some cucumber. The Vitamin B and Carbohydrates in the cucumber will offer the energy boost your body needs.

Do you like to party a lot?
Are you prone to hangovers and headaches after a few drinks?
Another surprising fact I learned was that Cucumbers are an amazing hangover cure. What you have to do is to eat a few cucumber slices before going to bed. It will stop you waking up with a  headache. The sugar, vitamin B and electrolytes in the cucumber will replace any vital nutrients the body may have lost. It will  keep your system balanced and prevent hangovers.

Remember: Drinking and eating cucumbers will definitely help you maintain a healthy lifestyle!

How to Get Beautiful Hair for Summer

Summer, summer, summer.
We are all waiting for it, but too much sun can leave your hair brittle and faded. Sun, humidity, salty sea water and wind dry up hair.
When temperatures soar, your hair and skin need extra care.
To prevent this from happening, you have to take special care of it.

Get beautiful summer hair with this tips:

1.) Staying hydrated is important for healthy hair and skin. Always make sure to drink enough water, especially in hot places.

2.) Protect your hair from the sun.
Heat and UV rays from the sun can leave your hair dull and brittle. You need to take precautions to protect it. Look for styling products with a built-in sun protection factor (SPF).

3.) Do not expose yourself to direct sunlight during the hottest period of the day – UV rays are then very strong and damage not only hair but also skin. The sun can totally dry your hair out. If you use fashion accessories such as hats, scarves and turbans; you will look good and protect your hair at the same time.

4.) Wash your hair after using a swimming pool, because the chemicals in the pool may harm your hair.

5.) Try not to use your styling products every day, keep at least one day a week to leave your hair au naturale.

6.) Always use a wide-tooth comb to remove tangles. Never use a hair brush on wet hair.

7.) Conditioner is an extremely useful hair care product which helps to keep hair strong, vibrant and healthy. Use a leave-in conditioner or hair serum daily for silky hair.

8.) Daily dose of a multi-vitamin with biotin helps the hair grow healthier.

9.) Before using a curling iron, make sure that your hair is completely dry.

Get beautiful long hair
A diet that is low in protein will cause thinning and weak hair. Eat sources of protein such as: eggs, fish, lean meats, yogurt, nuts, seeds, tofu, beans and more legumes. Get the right nutrients and vitamins. Some key nutrients for hair growth include: iron, silica, calcium, B Complex vitamins, Vitamins A - C - E, Biotin. Some foods that contain these vitamins are: leafy green vegetables, dried fruits, eggs, citrus fruits and yams.

Keep short hair smooth
With short hair you will need to wash your hair at least 3 times a week but no more than 5 times a week (it will become over dry). Use a styling product but not too much.
Shampoo it less often to help maintain that soft, smooth texture.

Stop dandruff
Avoid oily and junk food since they are among the main reasons for dandruff. Eat fruits and vegetables rich in vitamin C, as well as nuts, seeds or leafy greens rich in vitamin E, every day.

Add proteins, whole grains, legumes and other vegetables rich in B vitamins and zinc as well.
Get plenty of B vitamin by eating things such as eggs, cabbage, and yeast. These also help provide sulfur, which is vital to your scalp.

Leave on the anti-dandruff shampoo on your scalp for atleast 5 minutes before washing off. Don't scratch. Massage your scalp thoroughly, while taking care not to scratch it with your nails, rub gently, because fingernails can damage the roots.

And of course be experimental,  keep your hair up, wear flowers, ribbons and bows during the summer.

Paris, City of Love

Paris - City of Love!
I moved to Paris with my boyfriend 2 and a half years ago.
My boyfriend is French and when he suggested for us to move to Paris I was excited, but also scared.
He came up with an idea to visit Paris for a month, to see if I would like to live here.
I fell in love with it immediately. All the French I came into contact with were very nice. They also all wanted to speak English to me, which was very nice and made easier for me to adapt.
So of course after my experience, we went back to London, packed our staff and moved to Paris.

I'm so impressed by this city that i can hardly put into words what i think of it.
Paris is a must see. No wonder it is called the City of romance.
Paris is elegant, chic, enchanting and truly romantic.

Parisians take their cafe culture seriously and the idea of grabbing a quick cup on the go just isn’t acceptable. I was surprised to find all the chairs at restaurants and cafés facing outward, but I like it a lot. Then I discovered French wine, cheese, bread and macarons.
I have to tell you, I really don't know how those French women eat all that rich food and still stay slim.

Do you like Paris?
If you are looking for great interior design ideas, get inspired with Next, a UK based retailer offering affordable, fashionable, excellent quality clothes and accessories for women, men and children together with a full range of homewares.
