Charming Annecy

Coucou everyone,

A few weeks ago we came back from our holidays. 
I don't know about you guys, but I love road trips. Road trips are fun and simple (everything in the car and let's go), no rush, no stress.

Our first stop was in Annecy.

Annecy is an alpine town in southeastern France.
The city is called the little Venise and now I understand why. My friends told me it's increadibly beautiful and they were right. I've fallen in love with this place. It is one of the most beautiful places I have visited.

We stayed there for 3 days and had an amazing time.
There are many cute shops, bars, restaurants with beautiful scenary and also lovely old castle to look at. There is so much to see, the architecture is amazing. 
I loved walking over the bridges and narrow lanes. So many beautiful canals with overflowing flower planters.
There is also a very wide beautiful lake with a breathtaking view on the mountains. You can do lots of activities (pedalo, boat trip, ...) and even swim or sunbathe on one of there three specially built beaches.

Annecy is an incredible place to stay and I highly recommend it.
This is my list of things to do and must see:

1.) Mountains view.
2.) Crystal clear water with opportunity to swim, water bike or just doing a boat trip.
3.) Romantic walks along the canals.
4.) Historical architecture.
5.) Great playing area for kids by the lake with water games, pool ...
6.) Visiting the famous Pont des Amours (Love Bridge).
7.) Visiting Chateau d'Annecy.
8.) Great restaurants with typical mountain food (raclette, tartiflette, fondue).

So don't hesitate to stop there if you passing through France, it's a beautiful place and a great stop for all the family !
