Spend some time in the sun

It is amazing how much the weather can affect how we feel.
I love warm weather. Sunny days make me feel good, I feel more energetic and happier.
I like as well long walks on the beach. There is something peaceful about the sea, waves and warm sand.

Did you know?
10 to 15 minutes a day in the sun without sunscreen is enought to top up vitamin D levels. Vitamin D is important for good health, growth and strong bones.

Feel good, go out and spend some time in the sun for your mood. Sunshine boosts levels of serotonin, the body's natural happy hormone.
But remember, if you are spending a long time in the sun, covering up and sun protection is probably the best.

How to Prevent Stretch Marks with Weleda Oil

Stretch marks, we hate them and trying to avoid them all our life.
They happen because our skin stretches as we gain weight. And of course, pregnancy is a very common time for a woman to get stretch marks.
So how we can prevent them?
Lets start with a drinking a lot of water, drink at least eight glasses of water a day.
The way we eat is important for our skin elasticity. Eat plenty of fruits, vegetable and omega 3s. Avocados, bluberries, strawberries, eggs, nuts and fish are the best.
Next, apply a good oil and cream to your body every day and rub it in circular motions.
Exercise during pregnancy. Yoga and pilates give you an excellent work out.

One of my favorite oils is WELEDA - Pregnancy Body Oil for Stretch Marks.
It smells great, improves the appearance of the skin, absorbs really fast and keeps my skin soft all day. I just love the way it feels.
I am now 6 months pregnant and still without stretch marks.
I keep using Weleda Oil 2-4 times a day whenever I feel my skin is stretched.

Weleda - Pregnancy Body Oil for Stretch Marks

- Helps prevent the appearance of stretch marks by improving skin's elasticity.
- Thanks to Arnica extract helps ease discomfort and tightness of the skin.
- Certified natural and safe for mommy and baby. Made with all natural ingredients.

Regular use of oil helps aid in the prevention of stretch marks on the tummy, thighs, breasts and belly. Use it daily from the beginning of your pregnancy up to 3 months after birth.

It is also relieving for the itching. I highly recommend it to any expectant mom.

PS: Rub it in circular motions, but remember ... A kneading massage is not recommended during pregnancy!!!

New Look Maxi Dress

Two weeks ago we went on holidays to St.Tropez.
As Mark Black said: Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is relax.
We had an amazing time, the old town, port and the sea are just beautiful.
Pregnancy is a great time to slow things down, so make the most of your holidays and enjoy your time away from everyday worries.
Staying comfortable is very important when you are expecting a baby. The right clothes and shoes can make a difference.
Especially if you are pregnant during the summer.
That's why the maxi dress is a must have. This is a one dress that you can wear for any occasion when expecting.
I love maxi dresses, they are cozy, fashionable, practical, they look great and you can style them anyway you like.

We took many pictures during our vacation and I decided to share a few with you.

Happy First of May

Hello everyone and happy Friday!

The best thing about Friday is that it is the start to the weekend.
I love Fridays and today is even more special because it is also the 1st of May and the month of May is considered to be the time of love and new life.

Me and my partner are especially excited because we are preparing for this summer to welcome another person, our little angel to our life. I have to say I'm looking forward to that moment to become a mom.
In the meantime, I'm enjoying being pregnant. It makes me feel happy to feel those little hands and feet moving around inside me. Seeing my belly grow every day a bit puts a smile on my face.
And of course, I love wearing maternity clothes, they are very comfortable, stylish and cute.
One of my favorite maternity shop is Asos.
Asos.com is a British online fashion and beauty story. I really like their style of clothes and made a couple of purchases from them.
