Christmas Market in Trocadero

I love Christmas markets.
Leaving in Paris has so many positive benefits. We don't have one Christmas market, but five.
How amazing is that?
Paris is offering many free activities for those who want to enjoy the holiday festivities.

Last Sunday we decided to go and have a hot cider at Christmas market in Trocadero. For those who love to skate, there is also an ice rink facing the Eiffel Tower.
As you can see, the Christmas Village is definitely worth the visit. The Christmas market stalls sell everything from sausages, salami, nutella crepes, churros (sweet, crispy, fried dough), hot cider and of course my favorite ''mulled wine''. The aroma of hot spiced wine while shopping puts you in the wright festive mood.
I was nicely surprised to see my country represented at one of the stalls.
''Go on Slovakia'' :-)
If you are in Paris, visit Le Village de Noel du Trocadero and taste our traditional specialities like sauerkraut and mushrooms soup, grilled sausages and home-made pastries. Christmas stall is full of typical Slovak goods, so you can bring home unique craftsmen products that are sold on the market.
Don't forget to try a shot of homemade slivovica (plum brandy).

Visit one of Paris's many Christmas markets for a scenic winter stroll and try some traditional food.

Collaboration with Toni and Guy Evolution

Every woman loves to have a perfect hair. A woman hair is her crown.
The wrong hair color can make you look washed out, and a bad haircut can make you look older than your real age, even when paired with the most up-to-date makeup and fashion trends.

One way to freshen up your look and give yourself a more youthful appearance is to change the hairstyle. A more stylish haircut can knock a few years off your appearance.

We all need a change sometimes, sometimes it is the missing ingredient to feel better.

Last month I had an opportunity to collaborate with Toni and Guy and fashion & beauty photographer Erick Seban-Meyer; you can read more about Erick in my previous post or @ Erick Seban-Meyer, photographe de mode.com

The first time I visited Toni and Guy was a long time ago in London and the whole experience was very nice. So, when I got a chance to work with Toni and Guy on my blog, I was very happy.
On the day I was greeted with a smile and introduced to Jeff the salon manager, who sat with me and discussed the type of a hairstyles for my photoshoot.
I was then introduced to my stylists, a lovely girls, who did my hair.
They were friendly, always asking if I need anything and able to deliver exceptional service.
I have to say that I was very pleased with the way I was treated.

Just like fashion, how you wear your hair speaks volumes about your style and Toni & Guy Evolution knows style. I found it to be a great salon, fantastic service and georges result. And Toni and Guy isn’t just like any other hair salon. They also do a deep cleaning shampoo that’s specially developed to refresh and revive the scalp.
That's a good news, isn't it?

Erick Seban-Meyer - Photoshoot Collaboration

I'm a positive person, trying to go after what I want. Even though some people might think it's crazy or not possible. They say you should follow your dreams, that dreams come true and I believe that. Self belief is a positive tonic that helps people grow beyond their dreams.

Last month I had a chance to meet and work with a great fashion and beauty photographer Erick Seban-Meyer. Most of Erick Seban Meyer photographe-de-mode pictures represent cosmopolitan models with personality, sensuality and grace. His client list includes names such as Von Dutch, Ober Jeans, Belstaff, Miranda Kerr, Adriana Karembeu, Gwen Stephany, Karl Lagerfeld, Aishwarya Rai and many more.

I was very excited to have this opportunity. On the day of our photoshoot we met together with his assistant and make up artist. They were an absolute joy, so genuinely friendly and lovely. My hair were done by Toni and Guy Evolution (closer post about Toni & Guy coming soon).
It was a great experience, Erick Seban-Meyer is truly talented, he made it very easy and his eye for perfection is a gift.

Thank you Erick, I'm very thankful for this cooperation, it was a pleasure working together.

Modeling is extremely competitive, the industry is filled with rejection. It is very challenging to get a breakthrough and success will only come with patience and perseverance.
Getting into modeling career begin with a portfolio. A portfolio is a method of self-discovery and confidence-building.
Erick also works with people who are trying to get into modeling. He helps them to build their portfolio. So, if you want to get into modeling world, make sure you have your pictures done by a professional, because professional photographs helps you get an interview. It is a worthwhile investment.
